Two very attractive hand-colored maps Eastern Hemisphere and Western Hemisphere from the 1892 edition of S. Augustus Mitchell's New Intermediate Geography.
These almost 130 year old maps came from an actual school book used in schools and academies in the19th Century. Amazingly, these copperplate maps were hand-colored, and Mitchell's typically have bright coloring. It is normal for pages from these schoolbooks to have some smudges, drawings, stains, pencil marks, and the like, but these are unusually clean.
