Very attractive color printed map of Africa with insets of the Nile and the Southern Part of Africa from the 1892 edition of S. Augustus Mitchell's New Intermediate Geography.
This almost 130 year old map map came from an actual school book used in schools and academies in the19th Century. While most maps in this school book were hand-colored, this particular map in a later edition of the Intermediate Geography was printed in color. It is normal for pages from these schoolbooks to have some smudges, drawings, stains, pencil marks, and the like, but this one is unusually clean.
