Very attractive hand-colored map of Central Europe from the 1892 edition of S. Augustus Mitchell's New Intermediate Geography.
This almost 130 year old map map came from an actual school book used in schools and academies in the19th Century. Amazingly, these copperplate maps were hand-colored, and Mitchell's typically have bright coloring. It is normal for pages from these schoolbooks to have some smudges, drawings, stains, pencil marks, and the like, but this one is unusually clean.
